With growing global concerns around COVID-19 (“coronavirus”), I wanted to provide you with an update on our response to date and our commitment moving forward.
Most importantly, I want to highlight that the health, safety, and well-being of our guests and employees is and always will be the top priority here at Lil’ Monkeys. We are following the lead of Canadian public health authorities and we remain committed to providing a safe and comfortable entertainment experience at our facility.
While the Public Health Agency of Canada has assessed the current public health risk associated with coronavirus as low, we continue to monitor for developments very closely.
I want to assure you, our valued guests, that we are taking all precautionary measures to ensure our facility remains clean and safe. To accomplish this we have implemented additional measures, including:
- Introducing enhanced cleaning protocols in our facility with a particular focus on high traffic and high contact areas. Coronaviruses can be eliminated by routine surface cleaning.
- Using cleaning products that are industrial-grade and food-service approved.
- Increasing communications with our guests, partners, and employees on important health and safety measures.
Together we can ensure a safe and comfortable experience for everyone. To protect yourself and others, we ask that anyone who is feeling unwell to refrain from visiting. Know that we are doing our part by putting employment policies in place so that our hourly staff are not penalized financially should they need to stay home.
We continue to monitor this situation closely and will provide ongoing updates and encourage our guests to stay up-to-date through Canada’s public health site at https://www.canada.ca/en/
At this time we remain open for business and will remain open as long as we feel it is safe to do so and feel that we have a safe facility for everyone to enjoy. We have modified some of our policies to help all of our guests manage the coming weeks.
